The story of Lunacia: why Axies fight in formation and who leads them.

The Grand Confluence

For millennia Axies fought in scattered skirmishes or three-warrior fronts; the strongest won, not the smartest. After centuries of siege by the shadows of Chimera, the Rune Temple of the Ancestors —the heart of the world's mana— fractured and bathed the continents in light.

It brought no destruction: it changed every creature's resonance forever. Since then, when Axies of compatible lineages share the field, their souls intertwine and empower each other. A Plant casts roots that shield its allies; a Beast's bloodlust ignites its whole squad. This is Tactical Synergy: it is not learned, it awakens.

The Colosseum of the Nine Lineages

To hold back the darkness, the sages raised the Colosseum of the Nine Lineages, a proving ground where eight commanders clash at once. The gladiator doesn't win there: whoever reads the board, manages mana and builds the formation does.

The nine lineages —Plant, Beast, Aquatic, Bug, Bird, Reptile, Mech, Dawn and Dusk— are the nine bloodlines of the world. One Axie is a soldier; nine well combined are an army.

The Commander

The player is a tactical summoner linked through the Ronin network. They wield no weapon: they summon spirit records —living echoes of Axies— from a reserve of 36, place them and let each one's anatomy, class and Horn do the rest. The Horn is the Axie's signature weapon and unleashes its ultimate when filled with mana.

The Chimeras

Beyond the walls, darkness never sleeps. The Chimeras were born from the same fracture that gave Synergy: the broken Temple also weakened the seals that held them. They are the Colosseum's reason to exist: every match is a war drill for the day they cross the walls.

In today's game (pure PvP) the Chimeras do not appear; their PvE mode is set aside.
